Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms: By using Kanfit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.
2. Age Restriction: You must be at least 18 years old to use Kanfit. If you are under 18, you may only use Kanfit with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3. License: Kanfit grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on an iOS device that you own or control. You may not sublicense or distribute the App.
4. No Medical Advice: Kanfit is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before beginning any exercise program or making changes to your diet.
5. Content: All content within Kanfit, including text, images, videos, and other materials, is for informational purposes only. Kanfit is not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any content within the App.
6. User-Generated Content: You may submit user-generated content within Kanfit. By doing so, you grant Kanfit a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display your user-generated content.
7. Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to engage in any of the following activities while using Kanfit:
   • Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
   • Posting or sharing any harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
   • Attempting to access or use accounts, data, or information that does not belong to you.
   • Attempting to interfere with the proper functioning of Kanfit or bypass any security measures.
8. Termination: Kanfit reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time and for any reason.
9. Changes to Terms: Kanfit may update these Terms of Use from time to time, and any changes will be effective immediately. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Subscriptions

• Auto-Renewable Subscription: Kanfit offers auto-renewable subscriptions that unlock premium features. The subscription name, length, and price are shown on the purchase screen inside the App before you confirm any purchase.
• Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation of the purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you selected.
• Managing & Canceling: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Cancellation of the current subscription during the active period is not allowed; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Governing Terms: Use of any subscription is also governed by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy.

Privacy Policy

• Data Collection: Kanfit stores all profile, workout, and nutrition data locally on your iOS device. Photos captured in-app are saved to the app's private Application Support folder and are never uploaded.
• AI Analysis: When you use the photo "Scan Food" capture, the image is sent to our AI provider (Google Gemini) for nutrition analysis. The image is processed for that single request and is not retained for training. The "Food Label" mode runs entirely on-device using Apple Vision and does not transmit any image.
• HealthKit: If you grant access, Kanfit reads your height, weight, and date of birth to pre-fill onboarding, and writes back any updates you make on the Profile screen. HealthKit data never leaves your device.
• Third-Party Services: Kanfit may provide links or access to third-party services or websites. These services may have their own privacy policies; Kanfit is not responsible for their practices.
• Security: We take reasonable precautions to protect the data stored on your device, but we cannot guarantee the security of your information. You are responsible for safeguarding your device and any data stored within.
